Did you know that more children could benefit from pediatric therapy than you might think? It helps them reach milestones in their development, foster independence, and overall live more fulfilling lives. At Carolina Occupational Therapy Services, we provide pediatric therapy services to children through 15 years old. With two locations – in King and Mount Airy, NC – we are one of the only pediatric therapy centers in the area. Our experienced team of therapists, led by owner and therapist Kelli Cross, is passionate about helping children achieve their maximum potential and live fulfilling lives. With a small-town feel and an eagerness to promote an excellent quality of life, we strive to positively impact the lives of those we serve and their families.

We are proud to partner with local schools to provide occupational services for children who require it. Our therapists work closely with teachers and parents to integrate it into the child’s school day.
Stokes County's Leading Provider
We are the only pediatric occupational therapy provider in Stokes County and the first provider in Surry County. This demonstrates our commitment to making our services accessible to all children in the local and surrounding areas.

Our Experience
Meet Kelli
Kelli Cross is the owner and occupational therapist of Carolina Occupational Therapy Services. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Health and Performance in 2002 and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2003. With over 20 years of experience, Kelli has worked in various settings, including Early Intervention, school system therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term care. Additionally, Kelli has been involved with the Winston-Salem Children’s Developmental Service Agency (CDSA). She currently resides in King, NC with her husband and two sons.
Continuing Education
Kelli and the team actively pursue various continuing education opportunities to stay current. Kelli has attended trainings on Talk Tools Oral Motor Therapy, Beckman Oral Motor Therapy, Handwriting Without Tears, The Print Tool Assessment, Autism: Putting the Pieces Together and Fun into Functional, Ohio’s Annual OT/PT Conference and Institute for OT/ PT School-Based Practice, Wheelchair Seating and Positioning; Optimizing Outcomes, Neuro-Developmental Training, and several other advanced trainings.

Specialized Training
Our staff goes above and beyond to enhance their skills and expertise. All our therapists have extensive specialized training, including additional certifications in feeding therapy and sensory integration.
